CVS Health Production Innovation Advisor - Retail Pharmacy in Woonsocket, Rhode Island
The Production Innovation Advisor will be responsible for the development and implementation of projects that improve Pharmacy Operations. In this role you will be a subject matter expert that listens to the field, advises leadership on ways to streamline workflow, automates manual procedures, and improves the inventory management process. With 9,600+ pharmacies across the country, CVS Health offers the valuable opportunity to develop innovative solutions that will impact more than 60 million patients every year.You will excel in this role if you are someone who can make the complex simple, can present to execute leadership AND relate to front line colleagues, and most importantly if you have a genuine desire to help people.Primary responsibilities Include:- Create business cases that determine the value and risks associated with new processes and refinement of current processes - Act as a thought-partner for business stakeholders as they determine how to best improve the operations processes- Prepare materials and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise- Structure timelines, develop project plans, engage and align with stakeholders across multiple groups, and incorporate feedback into active workstreams- Strategically utilize data analysis to determine and monitor KPIs of multiple projects and initiatives- Engage with cross-functional groups in the development of new processes and resolve issues encountered by the teamThis role requires strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills. This position will routinely interact with the following groups: Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Call Center, Inventory, IS, Compliance, Loss Prevention, Legal, Quality and Safety, and Field Leadership. The candidate must also possess the ability to think creatively, operate in ambiguity, and proactively develop and present potential solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in Retail Pharmacy and/or healthcare operations- 2+ years of experience using strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis and/or measure success- 2+ years of experience using basic Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Applications to communication
- Clinical education and experience (i.e pharmacy manager)- The ability to communicate effectively in a clear, logical, and consistent manner- A strong background in process efficiency and/or the continuous improvement experience- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and influence at all levels- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Tangible experience with Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, Function Statements, Macros) SQL, Tableau, and/or other advanced data analytics abilities
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience or an advanced degree and 2+ years of experience
