As a Pharmacy Technician with Community, you will:
This position will train in our Toms River, NJ corporate location.
\* Answer incoming phone calls, responding to questions or requests.
\* Receive and store incoming supplies; verifying quantities against invoices.
\* Prepare IV medications, TPN on Baxter compounder, pain management
\* Clean and sterilize Cleanroom per USP 797 Standards
\* Fill medication and supplies under pharmacist supervision
\* Check for outdated medications in current inventory, and inform supervisor of stock needs and shortages.
\* Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
\* Clean, sterilize and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.
\* Mix pharmaceutical preparations according to written prescriptions.
\* Prepare items and supplies for delivery.
\* Ensures that all paperwork is complete, organized and accurate.
\* Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
\* High School diploma or equivalent.
\* Registered NJ Technician. Certification preferred.
\* 1 year of IV experience preferred.
\* Must possess good communication and people skills.
\* Computer literate. Ability to work in a team office environment.
