Territory Management - Distribution contributes to Cardinal Health

**Please note, this territory will cover the Southeast territory - Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and will require travel to these states and within this territory**

Cardinal Health, Pharmaceutical Distribution, is recruiting for a Pharmacy Business Consultant for the Southeast territory. The ideal candidate must be comfortable prospecting and closing new business, retaining existing accounts and selling pharmacy management programs & services. Additionally, this individual must be detail-oriented with the ability to comprehend complex industry data.

  • Develops understanding of the 340B program and applies comprehensive knowledge within the Community Health Center segment
  • Functions well autonomously but works collaboratively with a remote team
  • Develops strategies to maintain and grow territory profit
  • Collects customer data and translates into pharmacy management ROI
  • May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Accountabilities:

  • Sell the value of Cardinal Health Pharmaceutical Distribution to existing and prospective Community Health Centers.
  • Identify and close opportunities to manage, own or set-up a pharmacy (pharmacy management programs) on behalf of the Community Health Center.
  • Develop relationships within the territory and represent Cardinal Health at various 340B state/trade shows across the country
  • Manage a robust pipeline and demonstrate a progression toward closing the opportunities.
  • Work closely with account management to address issues/concerns with existing customers
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on territory accounts (i.e. onboarding, regulatory, credit, customer service).
  • Achievement of territory goals: sales to budget, profitability to budget and pharmacy management programs/services
  • Submit travel and expense reports in a timely manner
  • Meet administrative deadlines set by leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Min 4 years related sales experience, preferred
  • Ability to travel
  • Proven product knowledge in business area
  • A Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position. This includes either:

  • 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine

  • 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine

Valid driver's license
