Mission Statement: As a proactive and progressive department, the Department of Pharmacy Services will seek to optimize pharmacy care* in all settings through collaboration with the patient, physician, and other health care providers.

*Pharmacy care is defined as the direct, responsible provision of medication related care for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient’s quality of life.

The Norman Regional Health System Pharmacy Department is a highly eclectic group, employing 42 registered pharmacists (including 3 pharmacy residents), 32 technicians, and a department assistant. Of the pharmacists, 13 have completed a pharmacy practice residency, 3 have completed a specialty residency, and 10 are Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialists. The pharmacy is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Our employees abide by the Norman Regional core values including integrity, communication, attitude, results, engagement (ICARE)
