An Operations Pharmacy Technician II can only perform some aspects of drug distribution and preparation including assisting training of Operations Pharmacy Technician I. Technicians function in accordance with standard, written procedures and guidelines under the supervision of a pharmacist.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- High school diploma or Equivalent.- Must be registered with the WV Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician trainee upon hire.-Must be nationally certified (PTCB or EXCPT) upon hireAND Must be registered withthe WV Board of Pharmacy as Technician upon hire;OR Two year's pharmacy technician experience AND nationally certified (PTCB or EXCPT) within 9 months of hireAND Registered with the WV Board of Pharmacy within 9 months of hire.Please click on the link below to open and review the detailed job description and minimum qualifications:Notes to ApplicantOperation Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for delivering medications to the floor throughout WVU Medicine Children's. They will serve as the front line connection between nursing and pharmacy services. This position will work on afternoon shift. There is also occasional rotation to afternoon or night shift.
