Location: This position will be remote but the ideal candidate will be in a reasonable distance to an Ingenio Rx location in Wallingford, CT, Morristown, NJ, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, Louisville, KY, Atlanta, GA, St. Louis, MO, Virginia Beach, VA, Mason, OH, or Las Vegas, NV.
Responsible for writing standard proposal responses to help win and retain business.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Creates standard proposal responses leveraging the core content repository, develops written solutions, leveraging best practices, brand standards, innovative ideas, and reviewer insights.
Analyzes and interprets RFP and RFI documents.
Researches and develops well-structured and strategically positioned RFP/RFI responses that align with themes outlines by sales and/or account management.
Writing, editing, and proofreading questionnaire responses for finished proposals.
Identifies and creates standard content for the proposal database and edits content.
Aligns multiple written communication efforts with the overall Anthem messaging and goals.
Partners with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop new solutions and obtain direction to create alternative solutions.
Serves as a communications resource for business leaders and collaborates across various areas to support enterprise-wide selling initiatives.
May collaborate and partner with senior writers on more complex responses.
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of health care specific proposal writing experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills preferred.
Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading with the ability to draft clear, persuasive copy preferred.
Ability to execute multiple, ongoing projects in a timely and accurate manner in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment preferred.
Specific experience working on pharmacy or medical commerical proposal opportunities; strong writing and editing skills; attention to detail; and to be able to juggle multiple competing tasks preferred.
Proficiency in using an industry-recognized proposal software solution, such as RocketDocs (formerly PMAPs), Qvidian, RFPIO, or Ombud preferred.
Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of toold with particular emphasis on Word, Excel, and Teams preferred.
