Kaiser Permanente Manager - National Pharmacy Contracting Performance in Livermore, California
Under the direction of the National Pharmaceutical Contracting Director, provides analytics and modeling to support the contracting department. Generates market analysis & opportunity benchmarking for medications. This includes medications that are on and off contract with the intent of directing the efforts of Pharmaceutical Contract towards greater opportunity in the form of drug cost savings. Lead creation of analytical tools for use across the Contracting department. Generates reporting on team results for executive leadership. Monitors potential new generic launches. Leads team members in the invoicing and documentation of the collection of rebates due the Program on a quarterly basis, in both Medicare Part D and commercial contracts.
Leads and manages designated Pharmaceutical Contracting staff (both union and non-Union exempt) to:
Analyzes and reports on data to define opportunities going forward for Pharmaceutical Contracting.
Generates market analysis & opportunity benchmarking.
Lead creation of analytical tools for use across Contracting department. Other duties necessary to support the goals of the department of Pharmaceutical Contracting.
Generates reporting on team results for executive leadership.
Monitors potential new generic launches.
Manages the invoicing and tracking of rebate payments due to the Program.

Minimum five (5) years of professional experience performing data analytics that influence business decision making.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in influencing multi-disciplinary groups to achieve a common goal.
Bachelors degree in business administration, data analytics, or related field.
License, Certification, Registration
Advanced level of knowledge with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Basic understanding of Advanced Modeling tools and techniques.
Demonstrated ability to effectively use communication, analytic, and presentation skills.
Ability to innovate, navigate, and execute in an ambiguous, highly dynamic, and highly demanding environment with agility and integrity.
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Minimum two (2) years of experience understanding of contracting and purchasing strategies preferred.
Minimum two (2) years of consulting experience preferred.
Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a healthcare or related industry preferred.
Pharmacy experience in an administrative/support role strongly preferred.
Masters degree in business administration, data analytics, or other advanced degree in a related field preferred.
