Comprehensive Pharmacy Services Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem in Lacey, Washington

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PER DIEMSouth Sound Behavioral HospitalLacey, WAAs a per diem, nonexempt CPS Pharmacy Technician at South Sound Behavioral Hospital, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will work Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 8:00am-1:00pm as well as 8 hours at least every other week. About the Facility: South Sound Behavioral Hospital is a new 108-bed psychiatric hospital that opened in May of 2019. South Sound provides a full continuum of behavioral and addiction treatment services to patients of all ages - children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. South Sound provides free assessments on a 24/7 basis as well as inpatient and intensive outpatient care. CPS has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS .About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm and Saturday/Sunday from 8:00am-1:00pm. The pharmacy utilizes CPOE and software HCS and Omnicell. Required qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDRecent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacyWashington Pharmacy Technician license in good standing Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft OfficeEffective communications skills; verbal and writtenHospital Requirements: (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 monthsRecent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacyWashington Pharmacy Technician license in good standing (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months HepB or declination (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30thBenefits: All Per Diem employees are eligible to participate in our 401(k) program with an employer match as well as the EAP (Employee Assistance Program).CPS Requirements: All employment offers are contingent upon successfully passing a background check, drug test and signed onboarding documents.
