The Retail Pharmacy Business Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day oversight, management, compliance review, and operations of the 340B Retail/Specialty Pharmacy Program including: clinic administered medications in eligible locations provided by the retail pharmacy, mixed use areas managed by split billing software, and outpatient prescriptions filled by a contract 340B pharmacy. Completes data analytics of pharmacy dispensing to maximize revenue opportunities while ensuring program compliance. Evaluates the required documentation for all aspects of the program as well as the revenue and expense reports for owned and contracted pharmacies.

Work Hours/Shift:

Full time 40hrs Mon-Fri with flexibility to work off hours to meet the needs of the department

You Will Be Responsible For:

Exceptional Patient Care: Serves as the primary internal and external program coordinator and liaison for all retail/specialty 340B-related matters.

Excellent Communicator: Oversees initial and on-going training, education and communication required for the 340B program. Manages relationships, billing services, and compliance with contracted 340B pharmacies and consultants.

Strong Educator: Acts as a 340B subject matter expert by coordinating all aspects of the 340B program, working with the Pharmacy, Finance, Corporate Compliance and Patient Services Departments to ensure continuous compliance with all relevant federal/state standards/guidance/regulations/laws as well as hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Technical Familiarity: Establishes standardized processes for monitoring CDM/NDC split billing software crosswalk for additions, changes and accuracy of all relevant documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.

  • Position requires a minimum of two (2) years' experience in business or related field, with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability.

  • Experience with databases and strong data analysis skills required. Experience with 340B program management and/or pharmacy experience preferred.

  • Experience and skill with spreadsheets and other accounting applications (Excel, Lotus, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
