Unlock your potential here!This is a Full Time Mixed Shift Position With Rotating Weekends.Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy TechnicianSpecialist with us:You will fill unit dose cassettesYou will enter and fill unit and physician ordersYou will produce labels and pre pares IV admixturesYou will charge and reconcile billing documentsYou will audit supplies in nursing unitsYou will prepare medications and enter medication orders in computerYou will stock and distribute pharmacy supplies when neededYou will be responsible for ordering, control, dispensing, preparing,delivering, filing documents, reconciliation, and destroying controlledsubstances within the facilityYou will possess extended automation and Pyxis troubleshooting capabilities,as well as, participate in at least one workflow optimization teamYou will be willing and able to fill-in for at least one of the following-NarcTech, Buyer, IV LeadYou will be willing to train in said areas where lacking in experienceYou will maintain at least one active project during the employment yearYou will be the primary trainers for new technician employeesYou will be required to present at least one educational program fortechnicians each yearYou will be responsible for assisting in competency development andimplementationQualifications you will need for this role:Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with ColoradoBoard of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Pharmacy Technician certificate, orColorado Board ofPharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate. Ifinitially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issuedProvisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, must achieve Certified PharmacyTechnician (CPhT or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire dateSatisfactory completion of a formal technician training course preferred.
