JFK Outpatient Pharmacy
As a full timenon-exempt CPSPharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position can work 32 to 38 hours per week on a varying schedule Monday-Saturday.
About the Facility: Founded in 1967, JFK Medical Center is a non-profit, 498-bed community hospital, serving residents of Middlesex, Union and Somerset counties in Central New Jersey. With more than 900 affiliated physicians, JFK offers a complete array of advanced services, including general and specialized surgery, cardiac care, maternity and pediatric care, and emergency medicine.CPS has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS.
About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am-7:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm, closed on Sunday.
High School Diploma or GED
Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
Experience working with Rx30 preferred
NJ Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
Proficient computer skills including experience using Google
Effective communications skills; verbal and written
