Job Description

As a Pharmacy Trade Advisor, you will be a key contributor within CVS Health’s pharmaceutical trade group specializing in expired and recalled pharmaceutical product. You will lead return goods relationships with key pharmaceutical suppliers with particular attention to resolving financial discrepancies. Your ambition, team mentality, and critical thinking will help you succeed in this role.As part of this role, you will: - Deliver premier financial results with accuracy, discipline and diligence, in a highly visible fast pace and evolving pharmaceutical marketplace; - Proactively find opportunities, based on data and critical thinking, to create and drive business solutions; - Drive key projects and initiatives forward; - Identify key issues in contractual terminology and communicating those that impact business; - Develop and manage strong working relationships with external supplier business partners to evaluate opportunities, based on sound analysis, and resolve business concerns; - Independently prepare presentations that effectively deliver key facts, findings and a compelling narrative to internal and external partners; and - Engage across all pharmacy business segments to get results and resolve issues, delivering incremental EBIT to the Enterprise annually.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant work experience. - 4 years of demonstrating strong analytical skills with the ability to formulate key insights from data, superior critical thinking and problem solving skills.- 4 years working knowledge of spreadsheets, database and presentation software, including Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint.- 4 years of experience in a progressively responsible position independently analyzing and offering business solutions to improve financial results and/or business processes.- 3 years communication to executive level and business partners in a professional, consultative capacity.- 3 years of strong leadership skills, including the ability to develop and mentor team members and influence business decisions.- 3 years of running multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work experience reviewing legal documentation or contracts. - Effective communication in both written and verbal form, that is clear, logical and consistent, and can present findings and influence decisions across all levels of the organization - Attention to detail in a fast paced, ever-changing environment - Master Degree preferred.


Bachelor Degree required.
