Pharmacy technicians trainees work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed by only a registered pharmacist. No experience needed. Will train.Knowledge and Skills Education: High school diploma, minimum required. College courses desirable but not required. License and Certification: Current pharmacy technician registration by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Must obtain a certified technician certificate within one year of hire. All technicians must maintain registration and certification throughout their employment with the UC Health Pharmacy Department. Years of Experience: No experience required. One to two years equivalent experience, preferred.Required Skills and Knowledge: Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff; handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; set priorities and solve problems; respond quickly to emergency requests; communicate effectively (orally and in writing), and assist in meeting the pharmaceutical care needs of the patient populations served by the organization.Equal Opportunity Employer–minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
