UNITY CARE NW Pharmacy Technician in Bellingham, Washington

Unity Care NW has an Employee Health Program for the safety of our patients and staff. The program requires all employees to receive annual flu immunizations. We value each individual on our team and aim to onboard a diverse workforce of the very best talent, whose ambitions and values align with ours.JOB SUMMARY:As a Pharmacy Technician you will accurately and timely fill patient prescriptions, assist with inventory control and collect payments at the time of service under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:Graduation or completion of a Washington State Board of Pharmacy approved pharmacy technician training (required).Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician Certification License (PTCB certification preferred)Previous pharmacy experience in an outpatient setting (preferred)A current BLS certificationKnowledge and skills in pharmacy proceduresGeneral office skills, including excellent data entry and computing skills.Ability to learn pharmacy software and Microsoft Office familiarity.Proficient keyboarding skills and be able to input patient data quicklyand accuratelyExcellent communication and customer service skills in a demanding fast-paced environment with constant public contactAbility to understand and respond effectively and with sensitivity to special and diverse population groupsBilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferredWHAT WE OFFER:A friendly and collaborative team work environmentCompetitive compensation with starting wage range from $21.83 to $25.67 per hour
