Pharmacy Director, Account Management
Licensed Pharmacist and healthcare leader, primarily responsible for developing and growing profitable revenue from existing clients while managing and deepening client relationships. Must meet Profit and Loss targets, manages contracts either directly or through matrix organization.
Positions available in Jefferson City Missouri, Elkridge Maryland, Helena Montana, Bismarck North Dakota, Austin Texas, and Albuquerque New Mexico. Relocation is available for the right candidate.
Detailed functions include:
Ensure compliance with contractual standards, Company policy, State and Federal laws and regulations maintaining and monitoring staffing levels.
Meet Profit and Loss targets monthly, quarterly, annually.
Primary contact for the client & customer engagement. Acts as a liaise between client and cross-functional internal teams.
Manages internal and/or external teams through matrix organization.
Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives.
Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities for new business and expansion of existing business.
Actively visits client locations in order to build and strengthen relationship with customers.
Manages using long-term view and builds a shared vision with others, acts a catalyst of organization change, influences others, translates vision into action.
Responsible for revenue in excess of 25M.
All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Education: A Pharm. D. degree in pharmacy is required.
Minimum 5 years of senior level sales, operations, or technical management experience
5+ years' health insurance payer experience required, Medicaid preferred.
5+ years' experience managing call centers, claims, or other healthcare operations area, including staff and P&L experience.
Analytical and problem-solving experience required.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required.
Knowledge of the principles of cost benefit analysis.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Outlook.
